Announcing the Camp Ramah/Synagogue Initiative for the Bay Area

NEW YORK, NY (January 13, 2016) – The National Ramah Commission has received a new grant from The AVI CHAI Foundation to deepen the connection between Ramah camps and Conservative congregations. This grant will support a pilot initiative between the newest Ramah regional overnight camp, Camp Ramah in Northern California (Ramah NorCal), and a select number of synagogues in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ramah Partners with Foundation for Jewish Camp on New Online Inclusion Guide

The Inclusion Training Guide for Jewish Summer Camps is a new online resource designed to provide hands-on training guidance and support for camp staff seeking to create or expand inclusion programs.

This resource has been developed as a partnership between Ramah and the Foundation for Jewish Camp. We are grateful to the UJA-Federation of New York - Neshamot Fund for supporting this project through a generous grant to FJC.

New Partnership Between JDate and Ramah Aims to Connect Camp Alumni

The first-ever partnership between JDate and a Jewish camping movement has launched. A project of the Reshet Ramah alumni and community engagement initiative, RamahDate will offer former Ramah campers and staff members the opportunity to connect online with other Ramah alumni 18 years of age and older who share the passion for vibrant Jewish life that characterizes the Camp Ramah experience.
