Bert B. Weinstein Leadership Institute: This annual in-person conference held at Ramah California includes the following tracks:
“Weinstein”: incoming 2nd-year counselors
Vatikim (“veteran” staff) : incoming 3rd- and 4th-year counselors
Vocational Training: for current participants in vocational education programs
National Ramah Tikvah Network: for staff working with campers with disabilities

Kerem Young Professionals Network: leadership development for the young adult professional staff working full time for Ramah
TikvahNet: virtual social and vocational skills training for all past and current participants in Ramah vocational training programs
Alexander M. Shapiro Fellowship: for JTS graduate students working at Ramah
Ramah Nativ Track: for Ramah staff participating in the Nativ College Leadership Program (gap year) in Israel
Professional Networking Series: for college students, recent graduates, and college applicants to gain professional skills and build connections within the Ramah network
Specialized Staff Training Programs
Sha'ar Seminar: for staff working in Hebrew language programs and Hebrew immersion camp groups
National Ramah Tikvah Network Training: for staff working with campers with disabilities
Songleader Boot Camp Ramah Shabbaton: for music staff and tefillah educators
Amitei Ramah Training: for Ramah Service Corps Fellows and other part-time Ramah professional interns
Israel-Based and Other International Training
Mishlachat Training Seminar: annual orientation session for 300+ new Israeli staff members
Maslul Yisrael Fellowship: in partnership with the Shalom Hartman Institute, college-age counselors explore how Israel fits into North American and Israeli Jewish identities, and develop Israel programs for their Ramah camp. Supported by The Immerman Foundation.
Morton M. & Miriam Steinberg International Travel Fellowship: international travel seminars with youth leadership in other countries.
Maslul Argentina: a service and learning trip taking place in December 2022, including time at Noam Argentina’s majané kayitz. A partnership with Shalom Corps, supported by the Morton M. & Miriam Steinberg International Travel Fellowship and The Immerman Foundation.
Fellowships: Amitei Ramah
The Ramah Camping Movement has developed several year-round fellowships and leadership teams who work together to engage past, present, and future Ramahniks across North America and across the globe.
Amitei Ramah is our name for the group of more than 70 individuals who spend the year as part-time fellows and coordinators, engaging past, present, and future Ramahniks in Ramah experiences, programs, and events across North America and across the globe.
These cohorts include:
Ramah Service Corps Fellowship (university students and post-college young adults)
Reshet Ramah Coordinators (post-college adults)
Ramah College Network Coordinators (current university students)
Backcountry Bayit (post-college adults)
