Profiles of the 2023 Maslul Yisrael Fellows

The Maslul Yisrael Fellowship is a partnership between
the Ramah Camping Movement and The Shalom Hartman Institute.

In May 2023, the Maslul Yisrael Fellowship will convene 19 talented returning Ramah staff for a week of learning at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. There, they will study with Hartman’s esteemed faculty using Jewish text, values and ideas to explore how Israel fits into their North American Jewish identities, and develop a set of tools and frameworks to foster substantive and compelling educational experiences about Israel in camp. As part of the Fellowship, participants will create and execute a meaningful Israel education program at camp this summer.
