Ramah Programs in Israel

Ramah Programs in Israel seeks to make the Israel Experience an integral part of the individual’s Jewish education. Working with organized groups, schools, communities, and independents from a broad range of backgrounds, we strive to have the participants in our programs come to know the realities of Israeli society intimately while also learning to view them from a Jewish perspective. Approaching Israel as a dynamic arena in which various expressions of Judaism vie with one another, we engage those discovering the country with us in both intellectual and experiential exploration of the Jewish tradition against the backdrop of Jewish statehood. In so doing, we encourage the development of a personal understanding of one’s Jewishness and an individually meaningful relationship with Israel and the Jewish people.
